Today was the first day back at School. After having our usual Team 5 talk, we headed to Assembly, to prepare for the Term Ahead. After the whole School made it, the Assembly started.
The topic for this Term is "A World of Difference". The thing that interested me most is that we will be learning about Myths and Legends. The reason I am so interested is because learning them will teach me more about the Maori ways.
Kia ora Caleb, I enjoyed reading your short concise impressions of today's Immersion Assembly for the start of Term 3. The stories in myths and legends have stood the test of time and are an excellent way to find out more about a culture and its people. I am looking forward to exploring traditional stories from Aotearoa with our class and how Maori view the world. Kia kaha Caleb!
