Were Back for Term 3!
Today was the first day back at School. After having our usual Team 5 talk, we headed to Assembly, to prepare for the Term Ahead. After the whole School made it, the Assembly started.
The topic for this Term is "A World of Difference". The thing that interested me most is that we will be learning about Myths and Legends. The reason I am so interested is because learning them will teach me more about the Maori ways.

2019 Term 3 Highlights
This term has been the most interesting term this year. There has been so much going on, so in this blog, I am going to tell you all my term highlights.
One awesome thing has been making our maniakalani movie. It was really fun making them, especially since next term, I am going to see them all at film festival. Our Class movie was more fun doing, but our Extension one had more detail, and had a better story.
Another really cool thing was watching the School Production. The actors have been on this show since about week 4. I watched the Production on Wednesday, but we also saw it today at school. The show was awesome, and I wish I was part of it.
Finally, my favorite highlight was me winning Cross Country. I didn't write about it, because I was busy, but I did. It was an amazing moment. And I couldn't have done it without my Dad, who supported me the whole time.
Those are my top highlights. This term has been awesome, and I hope that next term, I have as much fun. I might post in the holidays, but if I don't, see you next term!

Rotorua Day One
Last Friday, me and my rugby team went to Rotorua for a rugby tournament. The first thing we did was go down to Marist Rugby Club at 11:00 AM. Then, when we got there, we had to pack all of our stuff in the back of one of the vans taking us to Rotorua. After everyone got there, we split everyone up in half, which meant that half of us went in the van, and half of us went in one of the managers, Hine's, car. After about 20 Minutes, we all left to go to Rotorua.
While we were going there, I was in Hine's car, along with my fellow teammates Leon, Maddison, Kenneth, Siakupega (or Pega for short), and Troy. Before we went on the Motorway, we stopped at a gas station, where Hine got gas, and Leon bought some food and drink's to share on our journey. Then it was time for our long ride. The ride itself lasted about 5 Hours, including all the breaks, where in that time, we talked, laughed, slept, and listened to music. It was awesome! After we finally got to our Holiday Park, I looked around, and saw how wonderful it was. There were lots of plants, dinosaur statues, a big room which was two stories high and was where we were sleeping, and the coolest thing there was the heated inside pool near the entrance. When we stopped, I wished it could go on for longer, but I still happily grabbed my bags, and went to the house.
When we got inside, we were told where we were sleeping, put our bags there, and sat in the living room, ready for dinner. For dinner we had pizza, which we ate happily. After we ate our food, which was about 7:00 PM, the coaches said that we all had to stand up, and say a little bit about our self's. Around in order, the players, coaches, and supporters all said a bit about them. Then the coaches told us to get ready for the pools, so we all went into our cabins, and got our togs on. After we got our togs on, we all went down to the pools.
The pool was small, but awesome. It had a slide, a spa, but the spa was useless unless you wanted to be away from other people, as the pool was so warm, there was also a area the coaches said that we could bomb and dive and push other people into the pool. First, everyone went on the slide, which was fun, then, we swam in the water for a bit. Then, after going on the slide a few more times, and playing Marco Polo, we all went to the bombing area. We all jumped in the pool at least once, and then we started pushing each other in. After being in the pool for another 15 Minutes, it was time to head, which we were all sad about.
After we got changed into our Pajamas, we all played spotlight in our room. After playing spotlight for 10 Minutes, it was time for bed. We all went into bed, and even though it took me about an hour to get to sleep because, I still had a wonderful first day...

Holiday Highlights
Hi, my name is Caleb, and in this post, I will be sharing some of my highlights for the holidays. Almost every day of the holidays, me and my brother went to the playground. We went to the playground because 1, it was fun to play there, and 2, it was starting to get cold and wet, so we tried to make the most of our time in the sun.
Easter was really awesome.When I woke upon Easter, I was really excited. I made my breakfast, read my book a bit, and then after a while, we went to my mums. When we got to my mums house my mum sent me and my brother on an easter egg hunt. After a while, we found a lot of big eggs, and my mum said that we had got all the eggs. After we had eaten a few eggs, our dad beckoned us over, and we went to our granny's. When we got to our granny's, my parents hid at least 60 mini eggs around the house, and after a short while, me and my brother were of to find the eggs. After about 5 minutes, we had found all the eggs. And had eaten a lot of them. Our easter was awesome!!!!
There were loads of other highlights, but because of time, I can only do this. Until next time, see ya!!!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Hey guys! About a week ago, I finished reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire. It is a book created by J.K.Rowling and tells the tale of a young boy who goes through a number of challenging tasks and missions with his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. It is an amazing book and has 617 pages. I read it allot, so it only took me about 2 months to finish. I will soon start reading the next book which is Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix.

2019
A few days ago, 2018 ended, and now it is 2019. I am super excited for this year and hope that this year is even cooler than last year (2018). I am definitely excited for my birthday because it is this month (January 27th). I am also excited for this year at school because I will be starting intermediate this year at Point England school. A few days ago, it was the last day of 2018. It is sad that 2018 is over, but at least now it is 2019. 2018 was so much fun both at school, and at home. I hope this year will be as good as last year. Until my next post, see ya!
