New Zealand Map

Walt: Use compass directions to describe locations

On this map, one of the places I learnt about was Pt England. I figured out that Pt England was east of Auckland. I also figured out that Auckland was North of the North island of New Zealand.

Task Description
Hi my name is Caleb, and this week, we have been learning about compass directions. Our theme for this term is "I like your Latitude". Latitude is a invisible line around the middle of the earth, which separates the North part of the world from the south part. Longitude is the line that goes down the earth, and separates the west side from the east side.

Visual Mihi

Walt: Learning about myself

Task Description
In this activity I draw my visual mihi. The first thing we did was trace our face. Then, we drew all of the best things about us. I really enjoyed making this, and I hope I do more of this in the future.
