My Art

Walt: Create art that represents yourself

Task Description
Hi, my name is Caleb, and welcome to my blog. For extension this term, we had to create an artwork that was special to us and represented something in Aotearoa. For the animal, I chose a seagull as that is our native beach bird. For the Beach/Grass Area, I based it off Saint Heliers Beach, as that is my favourite beach in Auckland. And finally for the mountains, I based them off the beautiful coastlines of our beaches.

Dragon's Eye Lake Animation

Walt: Make a movie about a chosen Myth or Legend

Task Description
Hi, my name is Caleb, and in this task, I create a animation about a Myth that I chose. The myth I chose was about Dragon's Eye Lake, and even though it's not 100% done, I think I did a pretty good job with what time I had. This myth, is about a young man called Aristoles, who rides and attacks the dragon Murin on his Unicorn Pegasus. The dragon had been keeping a princess (for marriage). After a long fight, Aristoles plunged his sword into the beast heart. Out of agony, it ripped its eyes out. One went flying away, and the other, made Dragon's Eye Lake.

Games Master

Today, we had a person from Games Master come into our class to class to show us a scenario. We worked together in groups to figure out the important details of the story. My group, which represented the mom, worked together to give her a cheat (a piece of advice). At the end, Sonnia thanked her, and she left.
