Today was very very weird. Mr Goodwin asked us to look after an egg, which had a face! Have you ever looked after an egg?
As Mr Goodwin told us about the eggs, I felt so excited and joyful that flowers could have bloomed. He handed us the eggs with a vivid and we started drawing our faces. Everyone was laughing at each others eggs because they looked very silly. Freedom’s one had a beard, Toby's one had a big mouth and my one was just a egg with a normal human face. After lots of giggles Mr Goodwin told us.
After lots of giggles Mr Goodwin told us to stand up and walk outside. Everyone stood up and walked outside with happiness. As I waited for Mr Goodwin I wonder what where we going to do. Then Mr Goodwin came out and asked us to cradle our eggs. I thought we were going to play the egg on the spoon.
But I was not expecting what came next.
I walked close to the park with confusion as we stopped near the parks. “Get into groups of Four or Five” said Mr Goodwin as I looked for people to be in my group. When we got into groups Mr Goodwin told us to line up for him to take a picture of us. The first group got on the park with there egg and Mr Goodwin took a picture of them, then they ran on the park. Then my group went on the park, got our picture taken and off we went. I ran across some of the park but when I went to climb on something, my egg cracked.
I think the egg challenge is really fun. I recommend that you do play this. Even though my egg cracked.
In this activity I had to show what the world will be like if people keep on throwing there rubbish wherever they like. I also hope this reminds people that you can't just throw rubbish wherever they like.
In this activity I had to understand minutes and hours. One of the questions I answered was how many minutes between 7:05 and 8:30. This was a bit harder than the Bronze Medal Problem but I still have to do the Gold level.
Task description: For this task we had to learn to tell the time better. We wrote the analog, digital, and written forms of time. We also got to attempt the Bronze, Silver, and Gold problems. I got up to the Gold problem
A week ago I went to the Whangateau Holiday Park. When I got there I put the stuff away and went to play. I went to play on the trampoline and the Manager told me of because there were to many people on it.
The other kids were laughing at me but I just ignored them. Later on that day I met some other kids called Kp, Ben and corry who I played nerf wars with for a long time. The rest of the day was just me walking around.
A week ago I went to the beach with my Dad, Jacob and my friends Greta and Gene. When we got there we put our stuff down and then swam in the water. After a while Greta stole Genes board so Gene chased after her.
After Gene finally got his board back from Greta We had a clay fight. Gene lost because it was me, Jacob and Greta vs Gene. We swam for about 5 more minutes and then left the beach.
At my Mums house I am reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban book. It has 425 pages and I am up to about page 170. I think that the books are allot more exciting then the movies because you read books more than watching movies. I have watched all the Harry Potter movies and they are quite good.
2 days ago my family and I went to the Bug Lab display at the zoo. When we went in the first thing I saw and went on was the bug slide. It was a slide that looked like you were getting swallowed by a bug, Eww!
The next thing I saw was the bee hive, where the bees were attacking a wasp. To win as the bees you had to rub your hands on the pads and generate heat. We saw lots of other things including a speeded up display, a video about eating bugs, a video about brain surgeon wasps and many more.
After looking at lots of other things mum bought me and my brother some toy insects to scare our dad. Then we left the Bug Lab and went to the zoo.
A few weeks ago I started reading The Human Flytrap. There are 136 pages and I am at 109. Later his teacher makes his class make Flytraps and one of Josh's friends Flytraps is bigger than normal. His teacher tells Dale of who is josh's friend and then Josh, Dale another one of Josh's friends called Sarah and a Girl called Lily try to get a Flytrap and prove that there teacher got Dale the wrong plant.
