How to be a Good Leader

Do you know what a good leader is, and what they act like? Some people act like a leader in a simple way, like opening a door for someone, or saying please and thank you, while others are leaders for huge companies. This essay is about how to be a good leader, and what responsibilities you need to be a good leader.

If you want to be a great leader, then always be respectful. For example, if you want to be a trusted leader, then always tell the truth and never lie. If you want to be a responsible leader, then do important jobs, and do things like looking after some kids, or listening to someone in a meeting the whole time.

Another way to be a good leader is to be brave. A way to show your brave is if someone wants someone to say a speech, put your hand up and say the speech. Another very important way to be a good leader is to help other people be a leader. Tell them what to do to be a good leader, and make sure they are listening to you.

Another way to show you are a good leader is by being loyal to one another. For example, if your a kid, and your mum tells you to do something, like clean the dishes, then say ‘yes mum’ instead of argue with her. That is a really good way to show you're a good leader.

Those are some really good ways to show that you are a good leader. If you do what is written in this essay, then you will be a good leader.

See you all in my next post.

Weetbix Tryathalon

Walt: take turns to share our mathematical thinking

Task Description
In this task I go over a question I did about the Weetbix Tryathalon. It was really fun, and I would like to do more of this in the future.

My favourite games

This is a blogpost about games.

My favourite games (digital and non-digital) are:

  • Battlefront 1-2
  • Destiny 1-2
  • Fortnite
  • Cool maths games
  • Injustice 2
  • Maths Whizz
The reason/s why I enjoy playing these games are:

  • They are super fun and you can play most of them with real people
  • There is always something to do
  • You can make new friends in them
  • You can get rewards which you can use in game
  • Every time you play them, there will be something different every time

Learning could be made much more fun and interesting if it included these elements of a game:

  • Games where you don’t rage on and are always fun
  • A offline and online server
  • You get things in the game that you could use in that game, or in your class
  • It will never get boring

About Me 2019

Walt: Have a positive digital footprint

Hi, my name is Caleb and I have lived in New Zealand my whole life. I am 11 years old and have one younger brother, who’s name is Jacob. He is year 4 this year and is turning 9 in July. All my dad’s family live in NZ, but none of my mums family live in NZ.

I play two sports, rugby and cricket, and I love them both. I am in the middle of the cricket season, and I love it. My favourite movie is Star Wars, because I am a huge Star Wars fan. At school and at home, I love reading.

This year at school, I am hoping to get more confident in my mihi, and improve on my writing. I am looking forward to this year with my five teachers, Mrs Stone, Mrs Ilaoa, Mrs Tapuke, Mrs Moala, and Mrs Tele’a.

Make sure to comment on my posts about how good it is. I will read all of them and use your advice for my next post. Bye!!!
